Darker My Love – “Summer Is Hereâ€
In keeping with the team atmosphere we have here at Broken Dial, Greg Wind chose this week’s Thursday Video Hook-Up. Why? Well, other than the fact that YouTube was the suck this morning and most of last night, Mr. Wind feels that this act deserves more exposure than they have gotten. His reasoning for picking this video:
“Shawn, this video matches the Do-It-Yourself, 90’s Seattle psychedelic rock sound. The song is like the catchiest lost track from the Singles soundtrack by a band that might have taken it’s name from a song title from Flea’s acting debut.â€
Wow, so if Greg likes them it means one of two things:
a) he’s being all sorts of nostalgic again.
or
b) they rock.
Obviously I trust Greg’s judgment, but just in case he is just a crazy old bastard, watch the video and decide for yourself.
