Weezer Posts “Pork and Beans”
After an unofficial leak earlier in the week, the first single from Weezer’s upcoming album Weezer (The Red Album) is streaming on their website. The new track, “Pork and Beans,” which was produced by Jacknife Lee (U2, R.E.M., Bloc Party, Hives) is said to be frontman Rivers Cuomo’s response to Geffen Record executives telling him to write more commercial material.
The song is rumored to be available for purchase online on April 22nd, but like all things with Weezer we will have to wait and see.
Weezer (The Red Album) is set to be released on June 24th on Geffen with both Jacknife Lee and Rick Rubin producing.
