Lujo Records is known for putting out some of my favorite rock albums. I say it time and time again that were it not for the boutique indie labels like them, we’d be much worse off as a music consuming nation.
Here for your listening pleasure is a video from Cincinnati-based quartet Pomegranates [Label Site, MySpace], “Whom/Who,” which shimmers with the joy and youthful need for expression found in East Coast indie pop. Frankly, I love it. The video (off their first full length LP Everything is Alive) was directed by Zach Daulton and is a nostalgic take on the limitless imagination of youth and robotic childhood fun.
