After spending a major part of today being completely pissed that I missed The Music Slut‘s CMJ party yesterday (and RSVP’d thinking that it was today), the kind, loving bloggers that I know hit me up to remind me of all the other great free shows that I can check this week. CMJ is fun times.

Evidently there is a festival in England called the “Underage Festival” and it has nothing to do with pedobears [Idolator]

Cool little video for The Avett Brothers‘ “Bella Donna” features 200% more beards than your average clip! [Muzzle of Bees]

I really love The Dears new album as well, but Joe says it better than I think I could (but still have to!) [Each Note Secure]

Another good story about blog censorship, which was due to a “copyright” infringement of demos from a band that GAVE them away before they were signed (‘splain the copyright to me again?) from a friend across the pond. Despicable act by big labels (are you surprised?), but good work by Matthew to get the word out [Song, by Toad]
