Video Hook-Up: Secret Dakota Ring – “The Fade to Black”
I don’t like OK Go, but I am definitely digging this solo side-project, Secret Dakota Ring [Official Site, MySpace], by the group’s guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Andy Ross. That must mean he does everything? Okay.
Either way, Secret Dakota Rings’ second record Cantarell came out yesterday, and it’s a tasty slice of indie-pop goodness. In this video for “The Fade To Black”, Ross teaches some school kids (in an obvious homage to Jack Black’s School Of Rock) how to play the track so that he can win back his girlfriend.
