After the success of the their US debut, Flock, Irish trio Bell X1 [Official, Myspace] are now primed to take on America with their most ambitious album to date. Landing somewhere a “little bit electronic, a little bit Bacharach and a little bit New Orleans Funeral March”, Blue Lights On The Runway, is winning comparisions to Eno-era Talking Heads, Sigur Ros, and XTC – this album may be the the perfect re-introduction of the band to American ears.
