Super Bowl Sweets with Peyton Manning

Man o’ man I am getting energized for this weekend’s Super Bowl. I don’t care that “my” team didn’t make it (as “my” team was a win away from what would have been the first 0-16 NFL season last year, the Miami Dolphins), I am just happy to strap in for a nice weekend. And with UFC 94 tomorrow night as well (BJ Penn FTW!) this could be the best…weekend…evar~!

If you’re looking to get super pumped for the game on Sunday, head over and check out an awesome mix sure to make you punch yourself in the face (or groin) [Ear Farm]

Can you name the last 5 Super Bowl halftime performers? Answer (after Sunday’s game): Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney. That’s awesome. Here’s seven of the worst halftime shows in Super Bowl history [Idolator]

The Sword are among my favorite acts in the world. They rock hard, which is why they were chosen to open for Metallica on their latest tour. Here’s some photos [Prefix Mag]

Our own Tom Williams wrote a pretty thorough piece regarding the intelligent use of social media to garner an audience for bands online. Hooray beer! [Hit Singularity]
