Video Hook-Up: Casiokids – “Fot i Hose”

casiokids1

Because Elie and I are always clamoring to hear more from this band, here’s the new music video from the Casiokids [Myspace]: “Fot i Hose”. We’ve featured the song here in the past [CMJ Rewind: Lukestar and Casiokids] so it is always nice to keep talking about someone we like a lot. Hooray Norway!

The video for Norwegian dance outfit Casiokids’ “Fot I Hose” replaces the band member’s heads with animated drawings and takes the band’s faces on a tour through ethnic dances around the world. Apparently that’s what “Fot I Hose” means. “Fot I Hose” sounds a whole lot like Ratatat, but with a heavier spazzed-out aspect. I’m undecided if that’s a good thing.
