It has been about a month or so since Justin from Bishop Allen [Myspace] hit us up to give us some new tracks from their latest full-length, Grrr…, which is out today. As a big fan o’ the guys, I liked the new material and while I wasn’t as confident that they had another “Click, Click, Click, Click” on their hands (note: I love the damn song and think it might be among my favorite songs of the last 5-10 years), I really enjoyed what I heard. Today, the band unveils the video for “Dimmer”:

It involves homemade props, a jell-o mold, rear projection and some truly fancy scissor-work. We were hoping to make something that felt like videos from when we were kids, and we discovered MTV, and it blew our minds. This, of course, when MTV was a much different animal.
