Super Smashing Pumpkins Bros

Holy crap, this is ridiculously amazing. I love when the crew at BuzzFeed has a great tip for me; they’re usually my first stop first thing in the AM to see what hilarity I need to be checking out.

Some technical genius has gone and reimagined the world of Super Mario Bros as the Smashing Pumpkins, complete with the 8-bit versions of their tunes. Ahh! I can’t wait to hear “Cherub Rock” the Nintendo version.

There’s no better way to start the day than watching a music icon of the 90s (who wasted ALL of our good faith on crappy side projects) reimagined into the world of Super Mario Bros.

  1. That video was awesome but I have to say it would have been more epic if it was set to Super Mario Bros. 3.

How awesome would it be to watch an 8 bit Billy Corgan rock THE WARP WHISTLE? ;)

  4. No, I loved it too, Mark. I just understand that so many fans DIDN’T like or get it and they are completely fed up with Billy as a result.
