Deer Tick Reveal Album Cover and “Easy”

deertick_bornonflagday

Born On Flag Day, Deer Tick‘s highly anticipated second full-length album, isn’t out until June 23rd on Partisan Records, which makes me incredibly sad. There is some really good news, though, a new song was released today from the album and I have to say, this is pretty awesome. You can hear how 2 years of strong touring have influenced their sound, but don’t take my word for it.

Check out the new track, “Easy” after the jump

[mp3] Deer Tick – “Easy”

The band’s current incarnation, Andy Tobiassen, Dennis Ryan and Chris Ryan.

Unlike War Elephant, this album features the three new members of Deer Tick that principal songwriter John J. McCauley III recruited to become the band’s current incarnation. Born On Flag Day reflects a natural evolution from a singular vision of one songwriter to something much greater. The album is set for a June 23rd street date on Partisan Records.
