They seem like really great people and one of their latest releases, Midnight Folly by Auld Lang Syne [MySpace], offered more promise than initially anticipated, with “Where My Fortune Lies,” they’ve released one of my favorite singles since I first heard Murder by Death’s Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them? Early into their career, the one-fifth Canadian band dropped a strong effort recently, one that not only caught my ear, but the heart of me as well; any time a CD shows up in a package for me that also includes a 7″ single, I know I am in for a treat.
