Our Swedish loverface, Sally Shapiro [MySpace], is dropping a new single July 17th on Paper Bag Records. I called her my “loverface” for she hearts RE (last I heard!) and Swedish women will always hold a very, very special place in my heart. As a result, I wanted to share this with you all, rad? This is the new “jam o’ the summer,” “Love in July” (off My Guilty Pleasure) and once again, Shapiro illustrates why her dreamy electro-pop makes me swoon. If Tom or Elie or James don’t enjoy it, they’re really only hurting themselves; she’s brilliant.
