Daily Dose – Monday Linkage

First up is an amazing mashup pitting Rick Astley with Nirvana. Seriously, I saw this a few hours ago and I have remained BEYOND impressed all day long. Rad mashup by DJ Morgoth and video mash by Thrift Shop XL [YouTube]

The Emmy-nominated, The Polyphonic Spree just posted the first demo for their upcoming record and it’s just Tim and a guitar, but I can’t wait to hear what they’re headed [GvB]

James and I both agree that “The Fixer” is not the direction we were hoping that Pearl Jam was going in. It doesn’t “suck” for fans, but it won’t win anyone else over, that’s for sure [Prefix]

Frank put together a really nice review of Now, Now Every Children’s Cars. He always seems so very nice, I should make a point to meet him one day [Chromewaves]

Culture Bully reviews Fanfarlo’s Reservoir and I guess I should finally check it out [Culture Bully]
