Back to the grind, people. For those who didn’t know, I spent the weekend in Philadelphia covering UFC 101 for Inside Fights (the MMA blog at Inside Pulse) and FoxSports.com [Best Fights Policy Has Drawbacks, UFC 101 Live Blog, Penn is Mightier]. As a result, I can barely keep my eyes open today, but I wanted to share something that got stuck in my head after the Friday weigh-ins – when we got back to the hotel room – and I wanted to share this with you; I just forgot until now.

The video is for “Wet Gold” by The Octopus Project [MySpace] directed by the Zellner Brothers (who created a fave web character, Fiddlestixx, among other things). The song appears on their Golden Beds EP (out now on Peek-A-Boo) and in this trippy clip, the band has to thrash around the ocean in a talking boat. Sounds weird, sure, but they get to chill with some rad crustaceans at the end, so I think it is an even trade, right?
