Well, even if the new Muse track, “Uprising”, does sound very much like “Call Me” (listen to those guitar squeals and deny that) I have high hopes for their new album. The Resistance is out 9/14 on Warner Bros. and while I won’t say that I am highly anticipating it, I am excited for it. I find something to enjoy with every track they put out (“Absolution” is a huge fave), so let’s just hope they got this one right once again.

not as good as black holes, but still good. however, i will wait to hear the whole album before i make judgments
a music lovers’ delight. it starts with a clap along anthem type crowd pleaser, and ends with a 3 part symphony. muse manages to cover just about everything in between, pop, rock, classical, metal, opera, alternative, accoustic, electronica, cultural. good luck labelling it. the only thing i can’t find is country, but i’m still listening. sure, you can compare them to queen, u2, rachmaninoff, acdc, gershwin, radiohead and arinelli, but that’s the beauty of it for those who are bored with one dimensional artists. it’s the same thing that attracts me to zappa, a little bit of everything.
