Retro Video Hook-Up: Damien Rice – “The Blower’s Daughter”
Here I go, getting all sappy again, but I have long been a fan of this song and once it popped onto my iPod this morning on the commute, I had to post the vid. Damien Rice’s song “The Blower’s Daughter,” has always been a powerful one for me, the message of deep, agonizing longing of the tune coupled with the deep relevance of when I discovered the tune (save for that last line), it’s utterly heartbreaking. The track is off the acclaimed, O and was also featured in the film “Closer.”
