Video Hook-Up: The Decemberists – “The Rake’s Song”

Clearly I am a few days behind on this bit of awesome, but check out this gnarly video for The Decemberists’ “The Rake’s Song”. Created and directed by two students studying Moving Image at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, Alex Dashino and Varvara Volodina, the clip features some unbelievable stop motion animation. Seriously, you’ve got to see this clip.

Check out the video and more “after the jump”

  1. The Short Fazed Hovel tour was amazing, I saw them twice. You really can’t get the full appreciation for The Hazards of Love until you see it live and with the back drop and lighting. I hope it ends up on dvd.
