Not sure what you ladies and fellas have on your agendas tonight for CMJ, but I wanted to tell you where you’d find the RE crew: Pop Gun Booking’s Unofficial CMJ Party. Tonight at Glasslands Gallery it will be an amazing evening of fun, laughter and tons o’ rawkus music, so if you haven’t already RSVP’d for this show (look at the effing bill below, people!) do it immediately! Those unfamiliar with Francis & The Lights won’t be for very long. Performing live, enigmatic frontman Francis Farewell Starlite, dark and severe, stands in stark contrast to the understated electro-funk that simmers below his burning howl. Darting around stage in panicked fits of energy, Francis could get a late night party moving in the dead of winter.

Pattern Is Movement will be traveling from Philadelphia to make their only CMJ appearance at the party, and UK garage-pop trio Let’s Wrestle, who opened for the Black Lips at Music Hall of Williamsburg back in March, will be jumping the pond to grace the stage as well.
