Video Hook-Up: Jookabox – “East Side Bangs/East Side Fade”

TeamClermontPublicity_garbage1_2

In the spirit of Halloween, the new video from Jookabox [MySpace] for Dead Zone Boys album cut “East Side Bangs/East Side Fade” is a George Romero-inspired, paranormal delight created by Sean McDonald and Matt C. Hale. It’s also pretty great. After the jump, you can watch it, okay?

Asthmatic Kitty Records will release Dead Zone Boys, the third full-length from Indianapolis quartet, JOOKABOX (formerly Grampall Jookabox) on November 3, 2009. As anticipation continues to grow for Dead Zone Boys, Asthmatic Kitty recording artist Rafter has put together a Halloween mixtape built from remixes of the spookiest tracks from Dead Zone Boys, and the previous JOOKABOX album Ropechain. An equally perfect soundtrack for trick or treaters and late night dance parties, the JOOKABOX Halloween Megamix also features JOOKABOX, DM Stith, and Rafter collaborating on a cover of Michael Jackson’s classic “Thriller”.

JOOKABOX also embarks on an extensive tour in support of the group’s new full-length, that includes a record release party and art extravaganza in the band’s hometown, Indianapolis. The record release party – to be held at The Big Car Gallery – will feature a live performance by JOOKABOX as well as unique works of visual art inspired by the songs of Dead Zone Boys, including works by fellow Asthmatic Kitty musicians, D.M. Stith, and Liz Janes.
