Akron/Family [MySpace] are hitting the road and will bring their rad-tastic live show to the Southern US this Winter. If you’re a Southern-based RE reader (basically, I think that’s just some nice people I know from Orlando – hi ladies!), you really should do whatever you can to check these guys out live. I wouldn’t call the moment transcendent, but it’s really damn good.
Their latest album, Set ‘Em Wild, Set ‘Em Free, should be among many fellow bloggers favorite albums of 2009 and represents the sound of Akron/Family as they continue to strive and evolve.
