Christmas Light Hero

Far too many people compete to be the best house on their block as it pertains to Christmas lights and/or holiday decorations. Due to not owning a house and also renting in NYC, that’s not an option for the Smiths. Still, I can understand the “Griswold-ian” notion that having the best display in the neighborhood might make us seem more festive or as if we care a little more than everyone else. Hell no, my friends, not this year. If you can battle through Eric Johnson‘s “Cliffs of Dover” without using the outdoor screen, you’re sure to become a legend on this block. Cool idea, but still no where near “Kasabian’s Football Hero“, I think.

Similar to the Trans Siberian Orchestra display a few years back, this fine gentlemen subject his family to the amazing feat of recreating a winter wonderland filled with, you guessed it, Guitar Hero. The timing is “reportedly” imperfect, but the game still looks very fun.

Rock out with Christmas Light Guitar Hero “after the jump”

“What do you get when you mix a Christmas Light show with Guitar Hero? Christmas Light Hero! A real game you play with a wii wireless guitar controller. Optional TV screen is available if you get in trouble, but if you use the screen, you don’t get your name in the high score list.”
